Host B.Nicole talks with Sharon Jones founder of Paroled 2 Pride about the non profit that helps returning citizens with training, housing and job opportunities when they have completed a prison sentence. Sharon tells the story of her brother who was killed by prison guards while in jail and they covered up the crime to prevent prosecution. Program participant Valerie tells her story about her time in jail, the mental stress of losing custody of her children, worrying about her safety and the struggles of returning home and staying sober.
